The Vegetation Inventory Program has been a collaborative arrangement between the USGS Center for Biological Informatics and the NPS since 1992.  Over the years, the National Park Service has assumed the role as primary funding agency through the NPS Inventory and Monitoring base funds.  The USGS collaborators have continued to host the data posting for completed vegetation inventory projects and coordination for imagery archiving and standards development.

The joint-website for data products is through the USGS Vegetation Characterization Program.  By following this link to that website, you will find all the completed vegetation inventory products that are ready for the web and public distribution.
