About NPScape Metric GIS Data
NPScape GIS data are currently available for two separate “phases” of the project, one released in 2009 and another in 2010/2111. Metric GIS data provided in the two phases are fully complementary, except in the case of roads and conservation status, where users should download the more recent data from Phase 2. We are working to reconcile these issues so the metric processing methods and data are “phase-less”.

About Phase 1 GIS Data
NPScape GIS data for Phase 1 are available for download at two different scales: (1) park-wide for each NPS unit plus 30 kilometer buffer, and (2) regionally for each Landscape Conservation Cooperative (LCC). Select a park or LCC and you will be directed to a new page where you can download the data (zip files) as "Holdings".
Note on Browser Compatibility: The data links are best viewed in Internet Explorer version 7.0 or higher. Some features may not currently work if you are using Firefox, Opera, Chrome or other browsers.

About Phase 2 GIS Data
NPScape GIS data for Phase 2 are available for download at two different scales: (1) in the case of land cover originating from the NOAA Coastal Change Analysis Program (C-CAP), park-wide for about 100 NPS units with 30 kilometer buffer, and (2) regionally for all other measures by each Landscape Conservation Cooperative (LCC). Select a park or LCC and you will be directed to a new page where you can download the data (zip files) as "Holdings". Phase 2 script tools for use in ArcGIS are also provided under Methods to make it easier for users to clip and analyze other areas of interest.
