Metric GIS Data

NPScape metric GIS data are derived using published and authoritative source data in seven major measure categories (human population, housing, roads, land cover, landscape pattern, climate, and conservation status). A summary of the available years, spatial resolution, and geographic coverage by measure is provided here. To download the metric data, follow the links below and you will be prompted to download each as a zip file.

Metric Data by Measure

The population data posted here are pre-generated seamless outputs derived using processing logic contained in the NPScape Population Analysis SOP/Toolbox. If Population statistics need to be calculated for a specified area of analysis, follow instructions in the SOP and use the appropriate Population Tool Input Data.
