Reports and Publications

Fire in a sequoia grove, Sequoia National ParkThe Inventory and Monitoring Program was created as a coordinated national effort to better understand the complex relationships of the animals, plants, and geography within parks and to "improve park management through greater reliance on scientific knowledge." A primary purpose of this effort is to develop, organize, and make this information available to the public. Below are a number of publications that provide more detailed information on this unprecedented scientific undertaking.
