NatureBib – Access to the online bibliographic database (NPS login required)
(https://science1.nature.nps.gov/naturebib/)NRGIS Program Database – The NRGIS Program Database (PLD) is used to document bounding rectangles, simple lines, and points associated with geospatial data collection projects. The initial goal of the PLD project is to collect bounding rectangles for NPS areas of interest related to acquisition of MRLC, NED, and DRG data. The PLD will allow support office and park personnel to directly input and update project location reference data over the web (NPS intranet) without the need to distribute, collect, and roll-up numerous digital files and e-mails.
(http://science.nature.nps.gov/locations/)NR GIS Data and Metadata Store – The NR-GIS Metadata Database provides tools for park managers creating, uploading, and editing metadata online.
(http://science.nature.nps.gov/nrdata/index.cfm)Universal Web Login (UWL) Utility – The Natural Resource (NR) Universal Web Login (UWL) system provides an interface for NPS staff, cooperators, contractors, and partners to request access to each of these NR applications: GIS Project Locations, NR-GIS Metadata Database, NR-GIS Data Server, NatureBib, NatureBib Document Upload

Crater Lake GIS Data Clearinghouse – This USGS site provides a variety of photos, information, maps, and digital GIS data for Crater Lake. Available GIS data layers are mosaiced for the 12 USGS 1:24,000 quads and have been projected to NAD 27 UTM. Data types available on the site include Digital Line Graphics (DLG’s), Digital Raster Graphics (DRG’s),Digital Orthographic Quadrangles (DOQ’s), and 10 meter Digital Elevation Models (DEM) merged with results of the 2000 bathymetry survey.
The California Spatial Information Library – This site provides a variety of regional datasets for California, including metadata. (http://gis.ca.gov/)

Oregon BLM Data Library – This site links to a variety of GIS layers maintained by Oregon Bureau of Land Management.
(http://www.blm.gov/or/gis/index.php )NRCS Data Gateway – The Geospatial Data Gateway provides natural resources and environmental GIS data including monthly mean and annual precipitation, tiger census data, DRG’s merged by county, FEMA flood data, and more. The Gateway allows you to choose an area of interest, browse and select data, customize the format, and download it or have it shipped on CD. (http://datagateway.nrcs.usda.gov/)
USGS National Map - The National Map Seamless Data Distribution System provides a variety of data including National Elevation Dataset (NED), Urban Areas High-Resolution Orthoimagery, National Land Cover Dataset (NLCD) 1992, Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM), and MODIS NDVI Direct Broadcast.
(http://seamless.usgs.gov/index.php )National Hydrographic Dataset – The National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) is a comprehensive set of GIS data containing information about surface water features such as lakes, ponds, streams, rivers, springs and wells. The NHD is based upon USGS Digital Line Graph (DLG) hydrography data integrated with related information from the EPA Reach File Version 3 (RF3). The NHD supersedes DLG and RF3 by incorporating them, but not by replacing them. Data is available at several scales, but not all data is currently available at the largest scales.
