Detected 2005-2006 changes in land cover classes at North Cascades NP following 2006 Flick Creek fire. Areas labeled as “increase in snow” correspond to locations that burned the most intensely leaving behind a large amount of ash, which is spectrally similar to snow. “Complete vegetation to water/deep shade” areas correspond to locations that burned twice, once in 2001 and again in 2006, and are likely dark char.
