Rocky Mountain Network

Data Management

The goal of Rocky Mountain Network data management is to provide scientifically sound data to support management decisions for the protection of park resources. To accomplish this goal, we will ensure the
quality, interpretability, security, longevity, and availability of the information resulting from network resource inventory and monitoring efforts.

Preserving information requires the establishment and maintenance of reliable data and information management practices. Creating and maintaining these practices and procedures requires the development of a Data and Information Management Plan. This plan and its related standard operating procedures can be accessed from the following web page.
