The second annual Natural Resources and Science Symposium will be held from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm on 4th February, 2010.

This one day symposium builds is designed to:

• Inform park staff, park partners, volunteers about natural resources and science efforts taking place in and around the National Parks of the San Francisco Bay Area.
• Provide resources on where to get more information.
• Provide opportunities for networking.

Presentations and posters will cover the following themes:

• Park Management in a Changing Environment (e.g. climate change, invasive species, T&E species, balancing visitation with resource protection)
• Trends in Ecosystem and Park Health (e.g. long-term monitoring)
• Science Education and Communication
• Traditional Ecological Knowledge
