Human Activities
Description:
Human activities are drivers that can act as stressors and are important agents of change in Southwest Alaska Network ecosystems. Understanding the intereactions among stressors is critical to assessing pathways of change due to human activities. For this reason, we grouped stressors into two broad categories: far-field influences including human activities occurring elsewhere on the globe that could impact network ecosystems; and near-field influences include human activities orccuring in or on lands and waters adjacent to parks.
