Science Advisory Committee
The Science Advisory Committee (SAC) provides technical advice and assistance to both the Network office and the Board of Dircetors (BOD). This committee is made up of the eight Resource Chiefs, the Network Coordinator, Ecologist, and the Network Data Manager. Subject matter specialists from federal and state agencies, neighboring universities, or nonprofit organizations are also invited to participate in meetings on an ad hoc basis.
The SAC coordinates the UCBN I&M activities and provides decision points to the BOD. The Network Coordinator is responsible for convening regular meetings and inviting other park staff, partners, and contributors as dictated by the meeting agenda.
