The UCBN is involved in a variety of projects outside of Vital Signs monitoring. Some of these projects include the Natural Resource Condition Assessment which uses monitoring methods to describe ecosystem health at the watershed scale, a pika inventory at Craters of the Moon NM&P, a photo monitoring project at Whitman Mission NHS and Nez Perce NHP, and a Lemhi penstemon inventory at Big Hole NB.
