Highlights

Changes to Tools
- Import raster legend no longer imports Arcview 3.x legends, now it will copy raster symbology from an existing ArcGIS Raster layer to other like layers
- Points to Polyline/Polygon now allows both a sort and break field to create ordered vertexes for multiple features
- Random Transects has an "allow overlaps" option
- Generate Grid allows Longitude/Latitude grids, rotation, and other new options
Removed Tools
- Layout Wizard –Change Template functionality in ArcMap is more robust and accomplishes nearly the same thing
- Analyze Grid – manual processing can be performed instead of wizard based
- Compute Correlation –confusing and there are other more complete tools available to perform statistics
- Photo Links –pending new approach to photo linking
- Transparency – available in ArcMap in the Effects toolbar
