North Coast and Cascades Network (NCCN)

About the North Coast and Cascades Network

The NCCN I&M Program is one of 32 National Park Service I&M Networks across the country established to facilitate collaboration, information sharing, and economies of scale in natural resource monitoring.

A multi-level organizational structure ensures accountability and efficiency of the NCCN I&M program. The network is responsible to a Board of Directors and Steering Committee, and program guidance and oversight is provided by the Inventory & Monitoring Division of the National Park Service's Washington Office.

The network consists of I&M-funded NPS personnel who work closely with park staff at North Coast and Cascades Network parks. Implementation of the NCCN I&M program relies on the substantial in-kind contributions of these park staff as well as the participation of a number of cooperators from other agencies and organizations.

For more background information about NCCN, see NCCN I&M Operations.
